During Charles X’s reign, an artistic style of the same name was adapted to fit the tastes of the new Bourgeois society. This style spread from 1818-1834. It didn’t completely replace the furnishing style of the French Empire, but is distinctly different from the formal Napoleonic era.
This exquisite table brings the drama in its hand carved base. A fluted urn setting atop the fluted spool base with stunning raised acanthus leaves adorning the legs and claw feet that are carved with incredible detail are the highlights. A grey and white marble top in excellent condition finishes off this gorgeous table that could work in so many capacities in your home.
