This vintage reproduction of Wallace Nutting’s Springtime in the Dell captures a tranquil New England scene with blooming cherry blossoms and a flowing brook. The print, dating from circa 1915-1925, is presented in its original aged gold frame, with matting and backing paper preserved. The lower left corner features a penned title, and the back is marked with Nutting’s name and Borin Art Products Corp, Chicago, Illinois.
Wallace Nutting (1861-1941) was an American photographer and artist renowned for his landscape photos of New England. His work contributed to the Colonial Revival movement, and today his photographs and furniture are widely collected.
