Large teak and brushed aluminium table lamp made by the high end producer of lamps asea, in the mid 1950´s. Designer is unknown. The lamp is good condition, with only minor marks and scuffs to the aluminium, new wiring has been made and original lampholders are still working perfect. The lamp measures 51.5 cm in height and the diameter of the aluminium shade is 35.5 cm, the base diameter is 18 cm. Asea was founded in 1883 by ludvig fredholm in västerås as a manufacturer of electrical lighting and generators. After merging with wenström's & granström's electrical power company, the name was changed to allmänna svenska elektriska aktiebolaget, literally the "general swedish electrical limited company", or a asea for short. Asea hired some of the most established and known lampdesigners at that time, to design beutiful lamps with the greatest cuccess. Designers such as hans bergström, carl auböck, gunnar asplund, carl axel acking and sonja katzin designed numerous iconic lamps that are extremely sought after by decorators and collectors. Asea continued to produce high end lamps until late 20th century. Eu standard. This piece has an attribution mark,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
