Stunning pair of sconces by Maison Baguès (Paris). This model with the parrots is iconic and made Maison Baguès famous and successful. They are ancient : circa 1930's-1940's and in good condition. Two lights per sconce. Decorative motifs (parrots, leaves) are made of molded glass attached to a golden metal mount. Candleholders made of glass as well and fake candles hiding the lamp sockets. Wired for European use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
