Contemporary Realism by New England artist Tracy Meola.
A small acrylic painting of vintage canning jars, but in a composition and style that is very contemporary. Impeccable technique.
The artist uses an original adapted technique of applying paint in thin layers, which gives her paintings a soft blended look; paintings can have twenty or more layers of paint on them but still look soft and smooth.
Painting is unframed and unsigned. Acrylic on stretched canvas.
