Quite rare picture plate of viennese imperial porcelain manufactory: stunning quality / edged areas are decorated with so-said grotesque (italian: grotteschi) pattern. - material is porcelain (multi coloured painted). Dated 1816 (year's mark at reverse side visible: '816) blue beehive mark (underglaze) of austrian imperial porcelain manufactory red painter's number: 87 ( = franz sollneck active 1799 - 1839 ) white impressed former's number (so-said 'weissdrehernummer') existing. Picture painting in middle area: most probably it is the goddess of love - venus - accompanied by cherub of love, being situated in woody landscape while a mountain range is visible in background. Venus seems to tease / sting the little winged armor since she holds bow and arrows in a manner so that the cupid tries to catch them unavailingly. Diameter: 24.5 cm (circa 9.8 inches). This piece has an attribution mark,
