A rare hand-carved piece from rock - tea pot with lid.
In really great condition!
Dragon is a popular motif in Chinese culture as it symbolizes power and authority of emperor in ancient history. Very often people would use 9 dragons, but I can see there are more than 9 in this tea pot.
On the bottom the two Chinese characters transplated as “spring rock”.
Even though it’s in its original Chinese box, it actually weighs almost 15 lbs!
