Anthony Perrigo "Blending" Oil on Canvas Painting. 18" x 18" (19" x 19" framed). Natural wood framed.
Representation in its simplest form. The female portrait created out of the use of color is meant to imbue hope.
Anthony Perrigo is an artist and painter based out of Seattle.
His works are often derived from the clash of both bright colors and monochromatic hues of black and white. There is a consistent juxtaposition that meets somewhere between beautiful portraiture and abstract nuances. With each piece, there is an exploration of beauty even in the darkness that is conveyed. As an artist, it is the process of self-discovery that is achieved when a painting is finally complete. Being able to share this with an audience brings purpose as to why he creates.
Anthony has always felt a need to create that began at a very young age. After a career in graphic design and a short stint in the tech industry, he has returned to the world of visual art and his true passion.
