Amazing ceremonial buffet, designed in the Art Deco spirit, attributed to the famous French creator and sets Jules Leleu (1883-1961).
It opens on top and on the facade by a double slaughter revealing a remarkable interior in Sycomore garnished with original mercury mirrors. This space consists of a concave part back and two small side drawers. It also has brass galleries, for initial use of storage for glasses, and which allow you to imagine a bar function in this unclassifiable piece of furniture.
Below, this buffet is made up of two movement doors, marked with diamonds with various colors. Floral patterns also enhance these, underlined doors - just like the flap down - by two winding light lines forming frames. The interior of this lower part offers a central niche and, on both sides, storage compartmentalized by shelves adorned with friezes on their visible songs.
Two strong upside down columns are the upward amounts of this unusual piece of furniture. They are ordered with brass rings and end in ornate feet with plates of the same alloy.
It should be noted that the sides are significantly flared backwards and that the low cross is slightly chant.
The slaughter, as well as the doors, lock and the furniture is supplied with an additional key.
This sumptuous buffet is both unique and perfectly in accordance with current trends. He benefited from a prestigious design and unalterable design work, which were the predilection materials of Jules Leleu, since expert in the layout of liners in the last century. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
