She slowly realized that her new love of the plant world and her long-time passion for geology were really the same thing -- the inevitability of change, whether fast or imperceptibly slow. This painting is part of her ongoing series titled "My Back Yard," which celebrates California's amazing plant life.

This acrylic painting is on gallery wrapped canvas. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back, and has a UV protective varnish. It is in a black wood floater frame with a narrow gold front edge, which is wired and ready to hang.
