Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this armoire features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a warm brown varnish. The piece adopts the typical 19th century Chinese rectangular shape, showcasing two doors and two drawers below. These doors are fitted with a large traditional brass medallion with teardrop pulls and open to reveal a convenient interior with two hidden drawers. The pocket doors have been newly reconfigured. The lower section presents two additional drawers with brass bail handles and dovetail construction, as well as a carved apron. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs.
