This cupboard dates to the late 1700’s or early 1800’s which is apparent by the pegged areas holding the plate rails and the inlaid keyholes. This cabinet is a magnificent work of American craftsmanship. It has been described as museum quality.
There are 6 drawers and two cabinet doors. Lots of storage. The door closures have been replaced to insure the doors close and stay shut. The back of the top shelves were painted dark olive green many years ago. The color is neutral enough to go with any decor.
This is 2 pieces the bottom is 36.5” tall. Overall height is 81.75”……Amaking piece! See less
