This piece is aniline dyed in a deep palette of blues and soft oils to bring the grain and textured knotty detail of the wood to life. The effect is one of vintage patina/found art/reclaimed object art with a hand-painted burnished text reading SAINT. Colors are sublime and seem to glow from within the wood. Framed in a deep modern white wood edge frame. 29.25" l x 12.5" h x 2.5" deep. Signed dated 2018. Hanging hardware attached. Can also stand on a bookshelf, etc. as a decorative piece. See less
