Add a striking touch of imperial elegance to your collection with this large Chinese porcelain teapot, beautifully hand-painted in traditional cobalt blue underglaze. This moon-flask-style vessel features intricate twin dragons chasing a flaming pearl (an iconic symbol of power, prosperity, and harmony in Chinese art). Surrounded by auspicious clouds and floral motifs, the design radiates energy and movement.
The teapot is made in the style of the Qing Dynasty. On the bottom of the teapot is a six-character Chinese mark that translates to: “Made in the Qianlong period of the Great Qing Dynasty.” The Qianlong Emperor ruled from 1736 to 1795, a time known for its great appreciation of art and fine porcelain.
Perfect as a display centerpiece or as an investment antique, this teapot embodies the refinement and mystique of Chinese porcelain artistry.
