Persian Shiraz antique rug in red and blue with Medallion geometric design, Keivan Woven Ars / rug ema-7567, country of origin / type: Iran / Shiraz, circa 1930.
This vintage Persian Shiraz rug (circa early 20th century) features a unique blend of colors and an intricately beautiful design. The central medallions consist of a vertical line of sub-geometric elements, surrounded by complementary figures in the field and surrounding borders. The various shades of red, ivory, and onyx blend beautifully with the midnight blue background and the rest of the jewel tones.
