Abstract oil on canvas original painting by Carlos Leon Cruz, signed on lower right corner. Comes in a faux stitched leather wood frame. Carlos Leon Peruvian artist born in Otuzco, La Libertad, Peru, in 1967, León studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes of Trujillo, graduating with highest honors in 1991. Carlos Leon artwork maintains an enduring and active dialog between the remnants of the Inca culture in the Peruvian mountains with the contemporary art that is the signature of our times. Carlos Leon aesthetic proposal receives the contributions of the pre-Columbian art of the northern coast of Peru, especially the stone sculpture. His works are a metaphor for the artist perception of the history of his people.
Carlos Leon paintings were exhibited in many galleries, cultural centers, and museums around the world. Among many others, he participated in the London Biennale at Chelsea, London UK, the Florence Biennale, Firenze Italy, the 1st Biennale do Mediterraneo, Lisbon, Portugal, the Ethnographic National Museum, La Paz, Bolivia, the Chianciano Museum, Italy, the Intercontinental Biennale of Indigenous Art, Quito, Ecuador, at the Museum of the State University of Mexico and the Museum of Modern Art, Cusco, Peru. His paintings are part of many institutional and private collections in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and many European countries.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
