"Liar" is 20x30" on a 1.75" wrapped archival artist's grade canvas. Ready to hang. Recently at a show and ready for a new home. This piece was completed shortly after the holidays and is one of three created for this specific annual show.

The expressive brushwork and textured paint as well as bold and bright hues with a very neutral grey and light blue violet. These pops of coral and almost neon violet would be wonderful accent colors to bring into a room with a rug or fun pillows.

Do you know this familiar children's story? I didn't intend for it to be a narrative--It was supposed to be a seascape. But, my mind and my brush had other ideas. There's no point in arguing. Just letting a work create itself, with only minimal interference by the artist is something that happens sparingly, but I'm always grateful for the experience and the outcome. See less
