Divinity of compassion, tenderness and love, Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Vishnu who is one of the three great gods of Hinduism.
Krishna is depicted standing on his altar, legs crossed, playing his elephant-headed flute. This subject, entirely chiseled with Indian motifs, rests on an equally elaborate base.
