This sophisticated Mid-Century Modern table lamp was realized in France circa 1960. It features an sculptural undulating base in a rich iron oxide hue with subtle horizontal striations. The exquisite shade of the piece is composed of richly textured resin in a translucent amber gradient with suspended feathers in the transparent substrate (perhaps a play on the amber-like aesthetic of the shade). This piece is unique and wondrous- sure to delight discerning collectors of first rate Mid-Century Modern design who appreciate all things truly exceptional. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
