Stanislas Lami, born in 1858 in Paris and died in 1944, was a French sculptor and art historian. He is the grandson of landscape painter François-Xavier Bidault and the son of sculptor Alphonse Lami.
Some of his works are kept in museums, especially in Spain. In Paris, at the Musée d'Orsay, there is a marble sculpture of the Danish Dog (circa 1892). He is also the author of a Masque de Berlioz (1884) kept in the library of the Paris Opera. Stanislas Lami exhibited many times in Salons, including the 1897 Salon and the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. This piece has an attribution mark,
