There is a graduated finial on top and this lovely muffineer bows out gently from the waist, resting on a raised tapered pedestal base. Baldwin and Miller began production in the 1920s in Newark NJ. Muffineers came into use during Victorian times and were used to sprinkle sugar on buttered toast or muffins. The impressed hallmarks are: "B & M, Sterling, 611." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=6-/12 inches, Width at widest=2-1/2 inches. This marvelous muffineer is in excellent antique condition, free from dents, scratches or repairs.
