These vintage transferware dinner plates are perfect for serving food or displaying. The Currier & Ives collection is an American classic pattern manufactured by The Royal China Company who produced dinnerware in Sebring, Ohio from 1934 to 1986. The pieces were created from lithographs made by artists Nathaniel Currier & James Merritt Ives and represented every phase of American life. Each type has a different scene. This saucer's artwork is "Low Water on the Mississippi" and the cup's have a Horse and Carriage theme.
There's a huge collection of pieces in this pattern along with others matching colors and patterns that can be used together. I'm selling the cups and saucers in sets, of which I have several. These plates are in near perfect condition.
