Elegant set of 6 'model 31' dining chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Schou Andersen, Denmark 1956. These typical Danish Modern dining chairs have solid teak frames and in the original upholstery. Another nice detail is the back legs which are not straight but if you look at them from the side you will see that they are almost running diagonally to the back and also position towards the inside. When you see them from the front or back, this gives the chairs a sculptural feel. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
