Beautifully crafted in the mid 80's just north of Milan in the Brianza District a major center of Italian furniture crafting and design, and purchased at Dilmos just off Via Brera on Piazza S. Marco in Milan, Italy.

I have included a photo of the original literature information that came with the purchase where it shows the place of purchase, Dilmos Milano, the model of the sofa bed "Volaria" and the designers at Flexform, A. Citterio & P. Nava

The sofa was professionally reupholstered a couple of years ago, and so the inner lining which said "Flexform" was removed, but I have included the photos that were taken prior to the sofa being reupholstered. The reupholstering was done by the same company that upholsters pieces for a high end national furniture and fabric store.

It is in excellent vintage condition

Microsuede was used to reupholster the sofa. Please be aware that microsuede has a nap and so all those "marks" are just the nature of the fabric, and that touch, changes the direction of the nap. There's a light sprinkling of something colorless on one of the seat cushions (photo #7) but almost imperceptible. It is in perfect condition on the flip side. All cushions are zippered.
I will include a leftover piece of fabric measuring 59" wide x 34" long. It will be handy to have should one of the cushions need to be repaired at some point.

The mechanical parts are in perfect working order, and the metal parts have absolutely no rust or damage on them. Truly amazing for a piece of this age, which is a testament to the quality of material used, and the workmanship of Flexform.

Chairish doesn't permit the sale of mattresses by individual sellers like myself, so the mattress isn't included in the sale. Mattress size needed is full size (54" x 75").

Opened the sofa bed measures 68" wide x 93" long
Closed it measures 68" wide x 33.5" deep x 30" high
The "arm" height of 23" includes the side pillow since it is where one's arm rests.
