This vintage 5x10 Hereke rug is one of a rare set of twin rugs that originate circa 1950-1960.
Hand-knotted in wool, Hereke rugs represent one of the most refined rug provenances in Turkey since the 19th century. This piece enjoys a rich design with traditional geometric patterns in beige-brown with taupe tones. Keen eyes will further note gold and brown detailing and admire its subtle sense of definition and presence.
