Simplex was a well known industrial lighting producer in … Read more 1960’s domed simplex enamelled pendant lamp – 14 inch – restored. Simplex was a well known industrial lighting producer in the 1950’s through to 1960’s. Their main market was providing tough enamelled lamps to large factories. In exceptional original condition, the gallery has been stripped brushed and sealed. All our lamps have been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to bs en 60598. Included: each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of wire for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black silk covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard e27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend led bulbs 6w maximum. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
