This vintage 3x7 Persian Kilim is a mid-century tribal runner, handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.
Its design most likely represents a Jajim-style Kilim–a flat-weaving technique in which multiple pieces are combined into one. This creates the look of stripes, as seen in its play of rich red with navy blue and off-white. The look is simple yet comfortable—a work of rustic charm and versatile size with vast design applications.
This vintage Persian tribal Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
