The seat connects to the wood dowel shaped base by black metal hardware, and swivels with ease. At some point, it was refreshed with clear coat to the wood, and paint to the hardware. There are no chips or cracks to the wood slats, although there are some imperfections from wear, consistent with age and use. Overall, this swivel stool is in excellent, vintage condition!

As a classic style stool, it can easily blend into different rooms of your home. Placing it next to your favorite bird-watching window with binoculars ready at hand, or in your art studio, would be a terrific way to compliment your space, while also adding extra seating when needed. See less
