This watercolor was created by the Reunionese artist Georges Roussin 1854-1941. It comes from his studio. He was a pupil of Cabanel, Lefebvre and Millet, which explains the very fine quality of his work. He exhibited at the Salon in 1878, which shows his importance at the time.
