the beautiful shelving system with the model number wks-192 was designed in the early 1960s by dieter reinhold for wk-möbel. The system shown consists of four shelves of varying depths and four metal rails. The shelves are hooked into the metal rails using two metal hooks attached to the back.
the shelves are made of teak. The original metal rails were made of gold-anodized aluminum. A small, elegant detail that gives the shelf a beautiful, light appearance is the trapezoidal cut of the shelves, which become narrower towards the front edge.
the wood of the individual elements is in very good original condition overall. The shelves have been cleaned and oiled. Two systems in this design are available. In one of the two systems, a board on the top has been sanded and re-oiled.
