* ben langlands (*1955) and nikki bell (*1959) studied art at middlesex polytechnic in london, during which time they began their collaboration in 1978. Their art encompasses sculpture, film, video, innovative digital media, installation and architecture. At the heart of their artistic explorations is the complex web of relationships that humans, architecture and the built environment share. Over the course of their career, they have exhibited in several london galleries, as well as internationally at the kunsthalle bielefeld, moma new york, the central house of the artist in moscow, the soeul biennale and the cca kitakyushu in japan.
