Set of four studies of archaeological excavations of the nineteenth in Nola and Sicily. Nola is known to be a city at 20 km from Pompeii, very famous for its archaeological wealth.
The archaeologist here has transcribed the various vases found on the site we can read elements called scientific such as "vase with three handles" "face of the vase" etc\. The archaeologist has transcribed and painted the vases with their decorations and numbered them. These four studies are drawing of Greek vases. The draughstam took spécial care to represent thème In actual size when possible, otherwise poviding the scale as well as other details.
