Ultra-rare aluminum sling two seat sofa designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll. This design team worked together at Knoll throughout the 1970s and won numerous design awards!
Super comfy sling design makes a great spot for long conversations, or watching a show. Leather is very nice, with some minor wear due to age.
Like Marc Newson's Lockheed Lounge, the aluminum pieces designed by Hannah and Morrison in 1971 were inspired by a mode of transportation, specifically, sailboats and the way sails slot into a channel in the mast. These chairs are demountable and easily taken apart with an Allen wrench. The aluminum side panels release the center sling, where the upholstery slides into a channel in the metal bar. Extremely easy to recover if desired.
*Most of these are fabric - this is genuine buttery soft leather.

Has minimal signs of use on aluminum, leather has minor wear due to age, but overall very nice condition.
