The maker, based on hallmarks is most likely William Hannay circa 1809-1810. Hallmarks include: "WH" "thistle," "d" and George III profile. There is an engraved monogram of "B." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from end to end=6 inches, width at widest=2 inches, Depth at widest=1 inch. These marvelous antique sugar tongs have been well cared for, gently used and are in excellent condition, free from chips, repairs or other imperfections. They are the perfect addition to your sugar tong collection and are marvelous for serving tea! See less
