Louis XV worker in rosewood and rosewood marquetry, made in a Parisian workshop in the mid-19th century.
This rare piece of furniture has a top rich in arabesques and scroll scrolls, encrusted in a rosewood veneer arranged in butterfly wings. The center is embellished with light wood marquetry adding contrast and refinement to the whole.
This top opens with two chopped brass hinges and is held by an original compass also in straight part. We notice a two hooks lock in perfect working order accompanied by a sculpted key. A mirror surrounded by colored chopsticks is framed by rosewood.
Inside this worker is a sliding -rosewood drawer, accompanied by a three -locked housing. Once drawn we discover a rosewood interior arranged in four leaves.
The facade of the drawer, with movement and concave, is marked with rosewood is rosewood forming beautiful arabesques.
Below this piece of furniture, we discover a last drawer in hopper in rosewood and rosewood belt.
Finally, this worker rests on four elegantly arched and curved humping feet, ending with hooves. The two outer sides on a background of rosewood are encrusted with rosewood.
