Hans Wegner created this monumental piece of seating furniture in 1960. The sculptural and experimental design is characterized by its extremely voluminous armrests. The extroverted shape of the headrest has an almost "dramatic" effect.
Overall, one of the most impressive works in Wegner's extensive oeuvre.
The armchair and Ottoamne have been reupholstered with Alcantara in the past. Some minor stains. Otherwise in very good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
