Qing Dynasty, rich red patina, antique carved hardwood Chinese coffer buffet cabinet with carved flanges and everted ends. Material is elm, color is faded red-oxblood and lacquered. This elegant coffer, sometimes called a butterfly cabinet features three drawers, petite double doors (the center stile between the doors can be removed to place larger items inside) and finished with medallion brass hardware. This cabinet is a great focal point in any home, particularly in an entry, dining room or bedroom.
