I bought these 6 chairs brand new in 1967 because I loved the elegant design and the solid walnut construction. I also have other pieces designed by John Widdicomb. Originally the seats were upholstered in black leather and the backs were cane. After many years I reupholstered both in this beautiful stripped salmon fabric.
The chairs are in pristine condition. They are 43.5 inches high, 17.5 inches wide and 21.5 inches deep. The seats are 19 inches high and the seat cushions are 18 by 18 inches.
