All of our products are commissioned and handmade by the craftswomen of Chiloé. The textiles are made with 100% wool from ’Chilota’ sheep, that are born and raised on the island.?The process by which these luxurious wool pieces are made starts with shearing the sheep, cleaning the wool in hot water to remove the natural oils of the sheep, drying and spinning the wool into fine threads before hand weaving into unique textile patterns and textures. The textiles we use are colored by natural dyes using leaves, barks, roots, branches or mineral elements. Their main characteristic is their capacity to adapt to difficult weather conditions which makes their wool resistant, flexible and durable. Hidden Zipper Closure. Large wood yarns woven to create a beautiful texture. Dry Clean or spot clean recommended.
