The upper part offers in its center a small concave facade drawer, on which sits a mirror, itself crowned with a bronze tape louis XVI. Its window with beveled contours is surrounded by a chopped brass baguette. On both sides, two small windows garnished with velvet and glass shelves complete this happiness of the day. Their tops are embellished with openwork brass galleries. The doors, with ornaments similar to those of the mirror, are equipped with locks in operation and their respective keys. We will appreciate the marks of flowers and foliage, in wood and various colors, present on both sides of each of these windows.
The lower part, with the body curved in both directions, forms a small secretary. His singing belt, his convenienced sides and the tilted downfall by which he opens displayed many decorations reminiscent of those described above. Once unlocked, this writing space reveals a niche below which are aligned three small drawers with drawing buttons. We also discover a compartment made accessible by a sliding top. The work zone offered by the slaughter thus unfolding is covered with a green, original color, bordered by a black and golden frieze.
Note the discreet but nevertheless omnipresence of lemon nets, forming frames around marquetry, drawer facades, glass doors.
The whole rests on four high feet with a pronounced curve, adorned with bronze falls at the front and ended by four cut hooves.
This graceful happiness of the day can be assigned various functions according to the place that we will choose: small office in a living room, a ragpicker or hairdresser in a bedroom, exhibition furniture in a common room \.
Whatever its destination, it will charm women by the finesse and elegance of its conception, while men can only approve its refinement.
