This pair of marine sconces were designed and manufactured by holophane in france in the 1950s. They feature a grey lacquered cast iron case and very thick glass shades. We acquired these lights from a southern france shipyard. Original (partly restored) vintage condition. Rewired for use in us and any other country of the world. One french b22 bulb each, 100 watt max bulb. Great industrial look, and superb reflecting light from the holophane glass shades. Diameter 8.3" (21 cm), height 7" (17.5 cm)? this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
