Mid 20th Century Jayess United Chalk-Ware Wall Hanging Art Plaques With 3-D Victorian Style Couple - a Pair.
These beautiful Mid 20th Century Modern pieces of hanging sculpture are in excellent condition. One Plaque showing a young man extending his hands with the offering of a dove towards a young woman in the other plaque. The young woman looks pleased at what she sees. Both are standing on a balcony which is framed with drapery and roses.
Both plaques are signed on the sides “Jayess United Copyright”. The Company was based in Chicago, Illinois and produced Chalk-ware pieces in the 1960’s.
Each plaque is in excellent condition and both have a minor chip at the top of each piece.
The plaque with the young man measures 18.75” Tall x 14.375”
