This stunning fragment part A right side of banner is a perfect example of the excellent work in metallic embroideries … Read more This stunning fragment part A right side of banner is a perfect example of the excellent work in metallic embroideries that was produce in France during the 1800 hundreds , thick and sophisticated in design you will find a multitude of flowers and decorative elements. Often used now on wonderful pillows here is the first step of that transformation , the gold embroidery is removed from the background textile and reapplied on a new one , ( see example of finish pillows with same style embroideries in 2 last pictures ) or you can frame it as a piece of art . We have two pieces matching like a mirror image (see picture 9) that was side right and left of the banner , this gives a wonderful opportunity to create a unique pair , please check the other fragments of the same banner that we listed as it can be use for a splendid set.The red visible in picture is just an added background in order to highlight the embroidery See less
