This vintage Chinese hand batiked textile was originally used being hung from a tall poll as a banner for festival...
I came across a few of these in China back in the 90's the fabric was/is light weight to blow about in the wind....(each with a different pattern)
I had them backed and framed with dark blue fabric so they could be used as wall art, decoration, scarfs, table runners etc...
