Hans Lie (Suriname 1941). Took part in many exhibitions at home and abroad. Works mainly in the abstract expressionist style. His work is characterized by subtle "painted graphics", in which one believes that animal and human figures can be recognized, but in which the chosen colors and bizarre technology also attract attention. Lie won the Grand Prix International D'Art Contemporain in 1979. He lived and worked in the Netherlands from 1958, from 1965 to 1972 in Surinam in Tilburg. His work can be found in many private and public collections. This piece has an attribution mark,
