Regula with a medallion patina, by the German sculptor Henry Weïsse (19th-20th), signed on the terrace.
This print shows a fireman of the city of Paris, during the IIIrd Republic, in action.
The firefighter, with a lance in his hand, is posted on a roof, more precisely on a roof window, trying to extinguish a fire. This sculpture rests on a circular base with a groove in ash with a faux red griotte marble patina.
A testament to those heroes who fight tirelessly to save lives, "Soldat du Feu" is a faithfully executed and authentic work.
