This turn-of-the-century piece sets a floral theme on the scale where it enjoys pseudo-paisley shapes made with flowers on the field and a closely packed floral border to bolster the richness of the weave. This rug of Tabriz lineage enjoys luxurious shades of maroon and blue on the border and bold red on the paisleys against a clean green and yellow backdrop for a neat contrast - never seen before in this imagination. Existing in healthy condition, a welcome choice for elaborate study rooms, living rooms and similar decorative projects yearning such aesthetics. Particularly rare in the more transitional take on a traditional pattern. See less
