A vintage silk scarf with delightful small print meets Designers Guild Varese, F1190/16 - the most luscious cotton velvet in color Viola. The softest, sweetest pillow with a unique print face and velvet back.
Vintage silk in excellent condition was muslin-lined first, then sewn to velvet as a knife-edge pillow, closed by invisible zipper. All cut edges serged and professionally sewn to finish.

DG's Varese velvet is 100% cotton, vintage silk is cotton backed. New economy 10/90 feather-down 20" insert. I use professional workroom supply and methods in the making of all pillows; Spun polyester thread to provide smooth stitching, nylon invisible zipper for closing. Cotton velvet sometimes receives marking as the finished product sits by itself on whatever surface it's placed on no matter how smooth and untextured ... and to itself during packing/shipping, as corners and face fabric fold slightly to accomodate wrap and boxing. This occurance is normal and should not be considered a defect. After-care recommendation: dry clean only less
