This is one of several art pieces I have made of layers of square pieces with square cut outs. This one in named "Five" as there is a raised number, 5, in the texture.
The texture is also combed and stamped and splattered and marked to give an industrial feel.
The second layer is a square cut out of a square. The top layer is a small black square with corrugated paper applied.
The surfaces are wood composite.
