The lamp is designed with … Read more 1992 Model 2892 satin glass table lamp by Italian designer, Daniela Puppa, for Fontana Arte. The lamp is designed with a peach colored glass body on a mottled metal base paired with a mint green glass shade which rests on a plastic harp. The lamp is illuminated by a double switch which can operate separately providing full light or ambient lighting. It is a wonderful postmodern design but the lamp's superpower is really the elliptical silhouette which enables the lamp to easily fit onto narrow tabletops. The three sockets...two in the base and one at the top..accommodate candelabra based bulbs up to 60 watts each. A lot of light and a lot of look! Marked on the base with designer and manufacturer.

Good condition with some signs of age to the metal base and a little crazing near the screw of the plastic harp, please see photograph 9. The glass is in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or chips. The plug shows exposure of the underlining wires though they are separately coated and are in good operating order. Changing the bulbs in the base can be a little tricky and requires the plastic harp to be slid up the shaft and turned to allow access to the sockets.

The lamp with shade in place measures 16" tall x 11" wide at the shade and 9" wide at the base x 4" deep at base and shade. See less
